Go to the Virtual Machine Library -> New
Drag the ISO file to the Window and then click continue to start installing.
For the Latest 64-bit Kali Linux(2019.02) in I am using now in 2019.08，the kernel version is Debian 8.x 64-bit.
Choose the default firmware type
Customize the folder name of your virtual machine and then click Save
Now start the virtual machine and then press Enter
If it does not work for the first time, you can restart the VM using the external restart signal sent by the VMWare software.
And after the restart, your Kali Linux should now work.
