Adopt Phone Free Hours

I find myself easily distracted when starting using a phone. For example, one will be trapped for a not so short while once (S)He starts using WeChat. Since this is an interactive thing, when you send a message, there’s an expectation. You tend to wait for a reply after sending it and when there’s a reply, you send a message again and so forth. You are distracted, and your energy can be easily drained by the process, which would otherwise have been used for working.

Above is a simple logical demonstration of the process, which may vary from people to people. But here is the idea, once started, everything is more likely to be done. So started from being distracted, time just runs away and a getting up early may just be ruined.

Therefore, to be more effective, I think it makes sense to make the rule for myself that I will set 10 hours (8:00 – 11:00, 13:00 – 17:00, 18:00 – 21:00) of each day as Mobile Phone Free Hours. In these periods of each day, when I am working on myself, no social media is allowed when not necessary. The necessary situation only applies to references to materials on my phone.

So everyone around me please pardon me for an average time of 2 hours of message reply delay. I want to be a more effective and dedicated person so that I can be more effective in relationship with everyone around me.
